KpiX gives platform administrators full control over asset subscription validity - from initial activation to automated expiry enforcement and billing configuration.

Asset Validity Management

Every asset in KpiX has a validity period - the date range during which it is active and billing applies:

• Create validity records for assets with configurable expiry dates
• View the current billing status for every asset in the fleet at a glance
• Manually deactivate an asset's validity at any time (e.g., equipment returned or decommissioned)

Automated Expiry Enforcement

KpiX handles expiry automatically so nothing slips through:

• Assets are automatically disabled once their validity period and grace period have elapsed
• Configurable grace period per application - give customers a buffer before connectivity is cut
• Pre-expiry notification alerts sent to administrators X days before assets expire, giving time to renew

Billing Configuration

For OEMs and platform operators managing multiple customer environments:

• Enable or disable billing enforcement per application independently
• Per-application billing module toggle - useful for internal deployments, PoCs, or accounts with custom billing arrangements
• View total active-device counts per application for billing reconciliation
