Asset Health & Monitoring
Get a continuous, holistic picture of your fleet's operational health - from live connectivity status to long-term reliability metrics.
Fleet Dashboard Statistics
At a glance, KpiX shows:
- Live online / offline counts across all assets
- Total telemetry counts and activity metrics per asset and per model
- Assets with open critical alerts - instantly actionable
Asset Health Score
Each asset receives an automated health score based on its active alert severity. The platform continuously evaluates:
- Number and severity of open alerts
- Telemetry activity (is the device talking?)
- Connectivity status (online / offline / silent)
Health scores are visualised per asset and across the fleet so operators can prioritise attention on assets that need it most.
Telemetry Loss Detection
When a device goes silent, KpiX knows:
- Configurable telemetry loss thresholds per asset model (e.g., "alert if no data for 10 minutes")
- Automatic telemetry loss event created when a device goes silent
- Root cause classification: network failure, power issue, device fault, etc.
- Manual update and resolution when the issue is resolved
MTTR & MTBF Analytics (Pro & Premier)
Reliability engineering built in:
| Metric | What It Measures |
|---|---|
| MTTR | Mean Time to Repair - average time from failure to resolution |
| MTBF | Mean Time Between Failures - average operational uptime between incidents |
Historical MTTR and MTBF event logs are available per asset for reliability benchmarking and warranty analysis.
Uptime Management
- Per-asset uptime records with precise start and end timestamps
- Uptime aggregation by shift, day, week, or month
- Manual adjustment for planned maintenance windows
- Export uptime reports as PDF or Excel
Key Benefits
- Proactive monitoring - telemetry loss detection alerts before users notice
- Reliability metrics - MTTR and MTBF built into the platform, not a custom BI project
- Granular uptime - shift-level precision for OEE and SLA reporting
- Export-ready - PDF and Excel exports for customer-facing reporting
